LIBERTARIAN NATIONAL CONVENTION

We are not the official web site of the Libertarian Party. DON’T MISS THIS EXCITING EVENT

PostHeaderIcon Volunteer

Ever wonder how all those bags get stuffed, speakers know when to stop talking, and attendees get their dinner tickets?

What would our convention be without

OUR VOLUNTEERS?
If you want to be a part of an exciting team; if you want to see the convention working from the inside; if you want to be part of something big, then we may have something for you! Volunteers are needed for all levels of the convention. Join our current team of:

Eva Kosinski Wes Long Elizabeth Johnson Vibeke Seymore Joe Johnson Tony Ryan

The convention needs YOU! We can use your help with any of the following:

Registration Manager - After the “crush” you will be at the Registration booth in the mornings to give direction to the other volunteers and then be available for questions. You will be needed before the convention to organize the registration list, badges, bags and event tickets.

Exhibit Manager - You will work with the Brede manager in the exhibit hall, help check in exhibitors, and schedule the last minute speakers in the exhibit hall. You will be the liaison to the convention producers.

Public Relations Manager – You will direct confirmation calls, e-mails and letters. You will help with sales and marketing. At the convention, you will help with our special guests, speakers, media persons, and VIPs to ensure their visit is the best.

We need assistants in the following areas:

Special Events Assistant Program and Events Assistant Food and Beverage Assistant
A/V Assistant Sergeant at Arms

There are also volunteer positions for decorating, registration, timekeeping, security, phone calling, mailings, hospitality, sales, bag and badge stuffing, and photographers.

If you have any skills that might be helpful or if you know of something you would like to help with that is not on the above list, let us know. We would love to have YOUR help to make this the best convention yet.

If you would like to help, just a little or a ton, let us know by sending an e-mail with your contact information to:

BetteRose@aol.com and MPoague@mac.com
Or you can write us a letter and send it to:

Denver LPCon 2008
c/o Michele Poague
